ABOUT US
The camping is located in the heart of Tiveden, an area known for its virgin forest and great cliffs. It is an ideal place for relaxation, for leaving weekdays behind and for enjoying nature, especially the amazing sunsets over the crystal clear Lake Unden. For active nature lovers there is much to do.
Languages
At Camping Tiveden we speak Swedish and English.
Season
Fishing in Lake Unden is best in April, May and September. Fishing is prohibited from October 1 through December 1.
Other activities
Different hiking and biking paths fan out from the camping site. Riding with your own horse or rented horse is permissible with guide. The Tiveden National Park offers great hikes.

FISHING
Brown trout, perch, pike, common bleak, lavaret and crayfish. Records: pike, 17.0 kg; char, 10.5 kg; Gullspång trout, 14.4 kg; lavaret, 3.2 kg; perch, 2.8 kg.
The camping has its own dock and launching ramp. Pioneer rowboats with 2 hp motor suitable for three for hire. A small shop with simple fishing things. Food served on order.
Fishing equipment
Fishing licence for Lake Unden is available at Camping Tiveden and covers fishing with jig, angling, casting and fly rods, as well as trolling with max 2 lines. All fishing is forbidden between October 1 through December 1.
Fishing regulations
Motor may not be used while trolling. Use only lures with barbless, single hooks. Limits are max 2 char over 50 cm or 2 trout per day and fishing licence.
ACCOMODATION
Alpine cabin: a cosy, self-catering 27 sq.m. cabin for 2 to 6 persons with its own shower/WC. On bedroom with comfortable, two, hinged bunk beds, a living room and kitchen. These cabins are insulated and thus suitable for the Tiveden climate. They stand on their own forest road at a short walk from the lake.

Location & transfer
Between Göteborg and Stockholm on E20: exit Finnerödja-Tived, county rt, 575, 18 km south. From Askersund: rt. 205, 5 km to exit left to Tived, 20 km to exit right, then 2 km.
The camping is located 3 km north of Sannerud.
