ABOUT US
A small (Petit Hotell) with a fantastic Chinese Garden, Bastedalens Herrgård has flats for self-catering and rooms. The restaurant offers dishes prepared from raw materials, locally produced and part of the Swedish culinary culture. The setting is peaceful, quiet and very lovely located close by the exiting archipelago of northern lake Vättern. Bastedalen is perfect for fishing and for enjoying nature.

Season
We are open year-round. Best times for fishng; Pike: April-May and 20 Sept - 1 Nov. Pikeperch/perch year-round. Salmon Oct - Dec until the lake freezes over. Brown trout and char – July-Sept.

Swimming – sand beach, cliffs or pool. China Park, Harge Uddar nature reserve, hiking paths in Tiveden. Stjärnsund Manor and Museum, Medevi Brunn spa, Godegård Estate, Askersund, Motala and Vadstena.
